Jadalla affirms Importance of Summits hosted by Saudi Arabia

The General Manager of Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Abdalla Jadalla, has affirmed the importance of the three Gulf, Arab and Islamic summits currently hosted by the Saudi Arabia in light of the developments and changes and instability witnessed by many Arab and Islamic countries and interference in their internal affairs.
Interviewed by the Saudi Al-Akhbariya TV Channel, Jadalla said that the decisions of the Arab and Gulf summits have been strong and decisive in their stand and solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the face of terrorist attacks on Saudi oil installations, assuring the support for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and condemnation of the attacks on civilian commercial ships and the threat to international navigation.
He pointed out that the speech given by the Chairman of the Transitional Military Council (TMC), Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan at the summit has supported a statement issued by the Sudanese Foreign Ministry following the aggressions and confirmed the stand of Sudan alongside Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and supported their the measures taken by the two countries to protect their interests.
With regard to the developments in Sudan, SUNA General Manager said that the Transitional Military Council has taken a series of steps aimed at reaching an agreement and arrangements for the transitional period leading to elections that will lead the country out of its current crises.
He added that Sudan had previous experiences that would help it emerge stronger from the current situation.
