OIC condemns the operations carried out by the Houthi militias against KSA

The Arab emergency summit in Mecca in its concluded session condemned the operations carried out by the Houthi militias against Saudi Arabia and stressed the solidarity of the Arab countries against Iranian interventions and condemnation of Iran’s occupation of the UAE islands. The statement stressed adherence to the resolutions of the previous summit on the Palestinian issue.

Political leaders and heads of state from Islamic nations have condemned countries that have made the “illegal and irresponsible decision” to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

In a joint statement on Saturday, at the end of a summit of the 57-member Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the leaders called on countries that have moved their embassies to Jerusalem to rethink their strategy which they said constituted “a serious violation of international law and international legitimacy”.

The OIC urged member countries to take “appropriate measures” against countries that move their embassies to Jerusalem.

The summit condemned the Iranian intervention in the Syrian crisis and its impact on the unity of Syria. The summit also condemned, Iran’s interference in the affairs of Bahrain and support of terrorist groups in it.
