Prime Minister leaves to Brussels

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, will travel on Sunday morning to Brussels at the head of a high-level delegation comprising a number of ministers at the invitation of the European Union.
In a press statement, Charge d’Affaires at Sudan Embassy to Belgium, Hamid Al-Jizouli, said that the Prime Minister would meet in Brussels with senior officials in the European Union and will give a briefing to the European Union’s ministerial council on the political developments in Sudan, the ongoing efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace in the country and the transitional government’s vision for leading in the coming stage.
Al-Jizouli stated that the visit of Dr. Hamdok to Brussels comes in an important timing in Sudan history following success of the glorious December Revolution and formation of the transitional government’s institutions, stressing that the European Union has been a major supporter for the change process in Sudan, a matter which was reflected in the statements issued by its different institution in support of the glorious December Revolution.
